| On the evening of June 12, 2019, Irish President Michael D. Higgins and his wife Sabina Higgins hosted a State Dinner at Áras an Uachtaráin in honour of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of The Netherlands. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima are paying a state visit to Ireland at the invitation of Irish president Michael D. Higgins. The state visit takes place in Dublin and Cork from 12 to 14 June.
