The Countess of Wessex visited Stepping Stones School in Surrey

On October 5, 2020, The Countess of Wessex visited Stepping Stones School in Surrey. During the visit, the personnel and students of the school celebrated the World Teachers Day 2020. The Countess gave a speech to students about what makes their teachers so special to them and thanked the teachers for their commitment and hard work. In addition, The Countess received information about measures taken by the school to enable a safe reopening after lockdown.

Stepping Stones School is an independent special school for pupils with moderate physical disabilities or learning difficulties. Most pupils are placed at the school by the local authorities of Surrey and Hampshire. The school focuses on children with special educational needs.
