The Earl and Countess of Wessex joined Great British September Clean volunteers

The Earl and Countess of Wessex, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn took part in Great British September Clean on Southsea Beach
On September 20, 2020, The Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn took part in Great British September Clean on Southsea Beach in Portsmouth. The family joined Southsea Beachwatch volunteers litter-picking and recording items for a beach survey. The Great British Beach Clean is run annually by the Marine Conservation Society.

Originally named the ‘Great British Spring Clean’ the campaign was moved from the original date in March due to the start of Coronavirus pandemic and is now the Great British September Clean. This year, people are encouraged to run their own small, local beach clean in line with current Government guidelines.
