| From the evening of July 9 to July 11, in her capacity as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA), Queen Maxima is making a three day visit to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The Queen arrived at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, and welcomed by Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen. The visit is being made at the invitation of the country's government. Bangladesh is currently developing a national strategy for the purpose of improving people's access to financial services. |
