Grand Duke Henri and the Grand Duchess Maria Teresa attended Chambord Castle's 500th anniversary

Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg attended the gala evening organized on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Chambord Castle (Château de Chambord) in France. Chambord Castle was built by Francis I as a royal hunting lodge. Chambord Castle became a national property in 1930. After the outbreak of the Second World War, Chambord Castle housed several art works from the Louvre including the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo. Château de Chambord was inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list in 1981.
