| On December 10, 2018, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, and Nobel Peace Prize laureates Congolese Doctor Denis Mukwege and Yazidi activist Nadia Murad attended the traditional "Save the Children Peace Prize" Party held at Nobel Peace Centre in Oslo, prior to the Nobel Peace Prize 2018 ceremony. That party is planned and organized by children. Yazidi activist Nadia Murad and Doctor Denis Mukwege will receive the Peace Prize in Oslo "for their efforts to end the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war and armed conflict". |
