Michael then took it to Facebook to share their ‘out of the norm’ wedding pictures.
One of pictures showed Jane posing in a gorgeous wedding dress at a local street food stall, helping Michael to wipe sweat off his face while he ate, and followed by a picture of the couple playing mahjong in matching white plain t-shirts, with Jane’s hair tied into two pony tails.
The wedding shoot was said to portray their ordinary life, which was probably why they also had some pictures taken at the supermarket, in matching checkered tops.
The series of pictures that Michael posted was accompanied by his caption: “[I] will just eat street food with you like that till old age”, which Jane sweetly replied: “Sure, anyway there are no returns on purchased items”, telling Michael that he can’t go back on his word after marrying her.
The couple’s marriage was initially disapproved by Jane’s mother as she was hurt by only learning about the wedding through news outlets instead of hearing it from Jane. In a fit of anger, Jane’s mother proceeded to write a public letter accusing Michael of manipulating their stakes in the company and making use of Jane to make money, which Michael have since denied.
The matter was resolved privately and Michael later explained that Jane will still own the entire company if he passes on unexpectedly. However, the fiasco was deemed by fans to be a publicity stunt for Jane’s upcoming album.
