Princess Kako of Japan recovered enough from Covid-19 and returned to Tokyo on September 29, 2023. Princess Kako was in Tottori to attend a national high school sign language performance competition. She fell ill there, canceled her attendance at the event and recuperated at a hotel in Tottori prefecture after testing positive for the novel coronavirus on September 24. Today, the Japanese government approved a plan for Princess Kako to make an official visit to Peru from November 1 to 10.
