Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway attended the presentation of the Library's Literature Prize at Bærum Public Library in Bekkestua. It was the book "A Voluntary Death" by Steffen Kverneland that became the award's first winner after a voting among readers and library staff across the country. The book is a personal narrative that revolves around the author's father and his suicide. The book was first published in 2018.
