Princess Nathalie of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg has divorced Alexander Johannsmann. Princess Nathalie is the daughter of Princess Benedikte of Denmark and niece of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. On 15 August 2022, the Danish Royal Court confirmed the divorce of Princess Nathalie and Johannsmann.
On 4 January 2010, Princess Nathalie's engagement to German horse breeder Alexander Johannsmann was announced. Princess Nathalie got married to Alexander Johannsmann in May 2010 in a civil ceremony and a year later, on 18 June 2011, in a religious ceremony at the Evangelist Church in Bad Berleburg.
The former couple has two children. The Princess gave birth to Konstantin Gustav Heinrich Richard on 24 July 2010. Konstantin's godparents were Crown Princess Mary, his aunt Ann-Kathrin Johannsmann, and his uncle Prince Gustav. The Princess also gave birth to a daughter, Louisa Margareta Benedikte Hanna, on 28 January 2015.
