On August 7, 2022, Princess Benedikte attended the award ceremony of the 2022 Dressage World Championships at the Stuttari Ask stadium in Herning. Denmark’s team claimed gold on home soil in the team dressage competition at the 2022 World Equestrian Championships in Herning. The Princess is patron of the 2022 Dressage World Cup.
