On June 13, 2022, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden visited the Askö laboratory which celebrates 60th anniversary of its establishment. The Askö laboratory is part of the network European Marine Biological Resource Centre (EMBRC). The laboratory is located on the island and nature reserve Askö in the Trosa archipelago south of Stockholm. The Crown Princess also visited the research vessel R/V Electra.
