On January 8, 2022, Former Queen Sofia of Spain attended a charity concert given on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Cáritas in the Symphonic Hall of the National Music Auditorium in Madrid. Cáritas Spain is the official confederation of charitable and social action entities of the Catholic Church. Established in 1947 by the Spanish Episcopal Conference, Cáritas Española aims to carry out the charitable and social actions of the Catholic Church in Spain, through its confederate members.
