On April 23, 2021, Crown Princess Mary attended the official opening of the Danish Science Festival 2021 at Nature Centre Amager in Kastrup. The Crown Princess is patron of the festival. Science Festival is an annual nationwide science festival celebrated week-long in April with approximately 75,000 participants each year.
