On January 28, 2021, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain hosted the traditional New Year reception for the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Spain. The reception took place in the Throne Room of the Royal Palace in Madrid. The Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation were also present at the reception. Queen Letizia wore a new long dress by Alejandro De Miguel.
