(Xinhua) Chinese comedy "Bath Buddy" on Monday continued to top the Chinese box office chart for the fourth consecutive day, raking in about 25.5 million yuan (around 3.9 million U.S. dollars), according to data from the China Movie Data Information Network.
The newly released comedy tells the story of wealthy Xiao Xiang, who suffers sudden amnesia due to a parachuting accident, and Zhou Donghai, a bathhouse masseur who later tricks Xiao into believing they are brothers working together as masseurs.
It was followed by Chinese romantic fantasy "The End of Endless Love," which earned 6.6 million yuan on Monday.
Coming in third was Chinese crime thriller "Caught in Time" with a daily box office revenue of 2.34 million yuan.
U.S. animated comedy "The Croods: A New Age" and Russian war film "T-34" respectively ranked fourth and fifth on the chart, generating 2.18 million yuan and 1.8 million yuan on Monday.
