(Xinhua) Chinese comedy "Bath Buddy" continued to top the Chinese box office chart on Saturday, raking in over 72.67 million yuan (around 11.11 million U.S. dollars), according to data from the China Movie Data Information Network.
The newly released comedy tells the story of wealthy Xiao Xiang, who suffers sudden amnesia due to a parachuting accident, and Zhou Donghai, a bathhouse masseur who later tricks Xiao into believing they are brothers working together as masseurs.
It was followed by Chinese romantic fantasy "The End of Endless Love," which earned 34.71 million yuan on Saturday.
Coming in third was U.S. animated comedy "The Croods: A New Age," with a daily box office revenue of 19.66 million yuan.
Japanese animation "Doraemon: Nobita's New Dinosaur" and Chinese crime thriller "Caught in Time" respectively ranked fourth and fifth on the chart, generating 17.6 million yuan and 6.57 million yuan on Saturday.
