(Xinhua) War film "The Sacrifice" remained at the top spot at China's daily box office, generating over 21.6 million yuan (about 3.2 million U.S. dollars) Monday.
This brought the film's total box office revenue since its Oct. 23 debut to around 733 million yuan, figures compiled by the China Movie Data Information Network showed.
Set in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-1953), the film is co-directed by Guan Hu, the director of this year's blockbuster war epic "The Eight Hundred."
"Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna," a Japanese animated film, ranked second, grossing about 7.4 million yuan Monday.
Coming in third was "My People, My Homeland" which raked in 6.3 million yuan Monday, with its total box office revenue topping 2.7 billion yuan.
