On November 15, 2020, at the request of The British Government, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall attended The Central Remembrance Ceremony in Berlin on the occasion of National Day of Mourning. Their visit to Germany was at the invitation of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, who is patron of the War Graves Commission.
