Norwegian Princess Martha Louise celebrates her 49th birthday

Norwegian Princess Martha Louise turned 49 today. The Princess was born on September 22, 1971 in Oslo and is the only daughter of King Harald and Queen Sonja. She is fourth in the line of succession to the Norwegian throne, after her brother Crown Prince Haakon, and his two children. The Princess has three daughters; Maud Angelica, Leah Isadora and Emma Tallulah. Happy birthday to you, Princess Märtha Louise.

The boyfriend of Princess Martha Louise, Shaman Durek made a surprise visit to Norway on the occasion of the birthday. The couple has not seen eachother in the last 6 months due to the corona pandemic. Although the duration of Durek's stay is not known, he will begin the visit with a 10 day-long mandatory quarantine because he came from the USA. With a post on her Instagram account, the Princess announced the visit on her birthday on September 22, 2020.

The message on Instagram is as the following: "I love surprises. And the best surprise ever was you turning up for my birthday, Shaman Durek, after 6 long months of being apart. It has been so challenging yet wonderful to see how, even when not seeing each other, we have deepened our connection and understanding for each other. One of the main things this corona period has shown me, is that we humans are tougher than we think and can prevail anything, but it’s better when we have our loved ones close."
