Queen Mathilde made a video call with staff of the Reine Marie Henriette Children's Home

On April 16, 2020, Queen Mathilde made a video call with staff of the Reine Marie Henriette Children's Home and children staying there. The Queen spoke with the children and care staff using words of encouragement in order to support the children during the corona crisis causing the absence of outside visits and activities. The Maison d’Enfants Reine Marie-Henriette ASBL was established in 1863 in the center of Brussels and is also known as “La Flèche”. It welcomes and helps children from zero to 14 years old, who come from families having difficulties of various kinds.
