| On the occasion of Queen Margrethe's 80th birthday, which will be celebrated on April 16, the Royal House has released a series of official portraits from the Queen's photo album. The photos include photographer Rigmor Mydtskov's portraits of the Queen: from the ascension to the throne in 1972 to the 60th birthday in 2000. Mydtskov (1925 - 2010) was a Danish court photographer. The person in charge of immortalizing these portraits to display them today is photographer Per Morten Abrahamsen. |
