| On January 14, Dutch King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima hosted the first New Year reception of 2020 for their Dutch guests. Hundreds of guests from politics, public administration and various sectors of Dutch society were invited to the reception. In addition, representatives from public transport authorities were specifically invited this year. Princess Beatrix, Princess Margriet and Prof. Pieter van Vollenhoven were present at the reception.
