| On November 19, 2019, Queen Mathilde visited De Poort Library (Bibliotheek De Poort) in Berchem in the Reading Week. That education programme is organized by Iedereen Leest (Everybody Reads) which is a non-profit organization aiming to inspire people to read and to make reading accessible for everybody. The Reading Week is being held from November 16 to 24, 2019 and is all about 'reading rituals'. This year's Reading Week has a special focus on children and their brothers and sisters and on young caregivers, who are confronted with an illness that needs care. |
