| On November 15, 2019, Princess Sofia of Sweden attended the 100th anniversary event of Rädda Barnen held at Quality Hotel Friends in Solna. Rädda Barnen (Save the Children Sweden) is the name of the Swedish section of the Save the Children International. Save the Children is a worldwide non-profit organization that aims to improve the living conditions of children. Rädda Barnen was founded on November 19, 1919 by Ellen Palmstierna together with Elin Wägner and Gerda Marcus. |
