| On the second and last day of the summit, Crown Princess Mary attended a panel debate hosted by the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW). The panel debate took place at the Hotel Villa Rosa Kempinski Nairobi, and the event focused on gender and education, which is a topic in the Cairo Programme of Action. Then, the Crown Princess participated in the signature session as a panelist. At the signature session, among other things, fulfillment of the Cairo Programme of Action, support of women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights, and the fight against gender-based violence were addressed.
