| On October 29, 2019, Japanese Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako hosted the third of four "Kyoen-no-Gi" court banquets following the proclamation of Emperor Naruhito's accession to the throne at the Imperial Palace on October 22, 2019, Tuesday. The buffet-style banquet was attended by about 700 guests, including prefectural governors and members of the Diet, the country's parliament, and in addition, leading figures from various sectors. Emperor Naruhito, Empress Masako and other members of the Imperial Family met with guests at the "Houmei-Den" state banquet hall and the "Shunju-no-Ma" room at the palace in Tokyo. |
