| On September 10, Queen Maxima visited Alzheimer Trefpunt De Til in Giessenburg. The visit was made on the occasion of Alzheimer Nederland's 35th anniversary this year. Since 1997, Alzheimer Nederland has established 246 cafés or “trefpunt” across the country where patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals can get together for a monthly meeting to talk about living with dementia and keep in touch with eachother in a relaxed and safe atmosphere. The organization has 48 regional branches across the country. Queen Maxima's outfit is by Belgian fashion house Natan. |
