| On August 17, 2019, Crown Prince Akishino, Crown Princess Kiko, and Prince Hisahito of Japan arrived in Bhutan for a 10 day private visit and were welcomed by members of Bhutan's royal family, that is, Princess Sonam Dechan Wangchuck, Princess Dechen Yangzom Wangchuck, and Princess Eeuphelma Choden Wangchuck at Paro International Airport. The visit takes place at the invitation of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck. |
