The Duchess of Cornwall visited National Stud in Newmarket

On May 2, 2019, The Duchess of Cornwall visited The National Stud in Newmarket, England. This is HRH's first visit since being appointed as Patron last November. The National Stud is a United Kingdom Thoroughbred horse breeding farm located two miles from Newmarket. The site was opened by The Queen in 1967 and was marked by the planting of a tree. Her Majesty returned to mark the Stud’s centenary in 2015.
The Duchess visited the Newmarket operation for the first time since being appointed its first ever patron last November
