| On May 1, The Duchess of Cambridge opened the Anna Freud Centre's new Kantor Centre of Excellence in North London. The Duchess also opened the Pears Family School as part of opening the new Kantor Centre. The new centre brings leading practitioners, researchers and young people together for the first time, to improve mental health services for children and families. During the visit the duchess met children and their families and took part in a music class. The Duchess is Patron of the Anna Freud NCCFF since 2016.
