Queen Silvia handed out the Queen Silvia Nursing Award in Germany

On April 3, 2019, Queen Silvia handed out the "Queen Silvia Nursing Award" in Kroge, Germany.The Queen Silvia Nursing Award is given to nursing students who have innovative ideas that improve the care of the elderly and people with dementia. The award was established in 2013 and is given to nurses in Sweden, Finland, Poland and, for the first time this year, also in Germany. The award ceremony was held at the St Anna-Stift Care Organization in Kroge, North-West Germany. During the award ceremony, The Queen gave a speech and handed out the award to this year's winner in Germany, nurse student Annette Löser, from Medicampus in Chemnitz.
