| On April 27, King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima, Princess Amalia, Princess Alexia, Princess Ariane, Prince Constantijn, Princess Laurentien, Prince Bernhard, Princess Annette, Prince Maurits, Princess Marilene, Prince Floris and Princess Aimee were in Amersfoort for the King’s Day 2019 (Koningsdag) celebrations. The King’s Day route in Amersfoort started at the Kleine Haag at the Mariënhof and ended at the Eemplein. King’s Day is the Dutch national holiday that celebrates the King’s birthday which is on April 27. King’s Day began in 1885 as Princess’s Day. |
