| On April 26, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway attended the opening of The German-Norwegian Literature Festival at Oslo Literature House. The theme of the festival is "On the Road to Frankfurt". The festival brings together German and Norwegian authors at Oslo Literature House. The main purpose of the festival is to introduce German-language literature, culture and language to Norwegian people. The festival will improve the mutual literary, cultural and societal relations between Norway and the three German-speaking countries. (The Crown Princess wore a new belted wool-blend tweed peplum jacket by Oscar de la Renta.) |
