| On April 24, 2019, Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako visited a special exhibition "The 30th Anniversary of the Enthronement, Cultural Exchanges of Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress: Sharing the Beauty of Japan" at Tokyo National Museum in Taito. The Emperor's abdication will be on April 30, 2019, and his eldest son, Crown Prince Naruhito's succession to the throne on the following day May 1st. |
