Morning ladies & Happy Mother's Day. This morning I thought we'd take a look at a jacket that's perfect for Spring & that's the shacket, which is perfect for teaming with stripes & all the neutral colours in our wardrobes. I have a couple hanging in mine, one similar to this one, another like this one, which is more of an overshirt & then a camouflage one similar to this. All really useful for wearing with jeans, leather leggings or even cigarette pants. Plus if you want to dress down a maxi skirt or dress they even look great teamed with these & a pair of trainers. Or you can even dress them up by adding a statement brooch or even pairing with a pearl necklace.
As you can see above, I've put together my favourite picks from the high street & as always just click on any of the above images for further details.
Back to today & as we're still away in the Lake District, this Sunday is all about enjoying a leisurely breakfast before a long walk to burn it off & then as a treat for Mother's Day the boys have booked me in for a hot stone massage at the hotel spa :-) Before dinner in their second restaurant tonight. So simple casual style for the day with my favourite camo shirt, I'll upload outfit photos over on Instagram here & post some more pics to Stories, together with tonight's look.

Wishing all you mother's a special day, I hope you're surrounded by love & receive a few little treats in appeciation of all you do - after all a mother's love knows no bounds. One of the hardest but most rewarding jobs that we are honoured to have, even during all the worry & sleepless nights we experience! For anyone who has lost their mother then I know today can be especially hard & the pain of the loss most prevalent but remember they are always with us. Plus of course it goes without saying that my heart goes out to anyone who is desperately trying to become a mum - never, ever give up on your dreams.
What ever you're up to & however you're choosing to celebrate today have a good one & I'll see you tomorrow.
