State visit of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde to South Korea

Belgian King Philippe and Queen Mathilde are making a 4 day state visit to South Korea on March 25-28. On the second day of their visit to South Korea, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde attended a memorial ceremony at the Korean War Memorial in Seoul to pay tribute to Belgian soldiers who fought for South Korea during the 1950-53 Korean War. After the ceremony, The King and Queen of Belgium were welcomed by President Moon Jae-in and First Lady Kim Jung-sook with a state ceremony at Cheongwadae (The Blue House). Afterwards, Queen Mathilde visited the Korea University of Arts (K’ARTS) together with First Lady Kim Jung-sook.
