On March 27, 2019, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain attended the official opening ceremony of the 8th International Congress of Spanish Language at the Libertador Theatre (Teatro del Libertador General San Martín) in Cordoba, together with Argentina's President Mauricio Macri and his wife, First Lady Juliana Awada. The royal couple chaired the opening session of the CILE, which had the theme 'America and the future of Spanish Culture and education, technology and entrepreneurship.' The International Congress of Spanish Language is a cultural event in Argentina and this year marks the 8th congress. (The Queen wore a print dress by Massimo Dutti.) |
