| On March 1, 2019, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg attended a meeting with board members of the National Council of Women (CNFL - Conseil National des Femmes du Luxembourg asbl) to exchange information on violence against women. The meeting was held at Berg Castle. The National Council of Women of Luxembourg (CNFL) was established in 1975 and is a non-profit association. Beyond political and religious cleavages, CNFL currently comprises 12 committed member associations which aim to build a society where there is equality between women and men. |
