What the Cast of 'Crazy Rich Asians' Wore on the 2019 Oscars Red Carpet

Ahead of the ceremony for the 91st Annual Academy Awards, the cast of 2018's blockbuster hit Crazy Rich Asians arrived at the Oscars red carpet looking just as regal as their characters. Though the film did not receive any nominations, the actors from the film looked ready to steal the spotlight.

Constance Wu

Constance Wu, who stole everyone's hearts as Rachel Chu in Crazy Rich Asians, made her red carpet appearance at the Academy Awards in a bright yellow tulle Versace gown. She paired the Beauty and the Beast–reminiscent gown with a wavy low ponytail and dangle earrings, topping off her look with a bright red lipstick for an additional pop of color. Wu is a presenter at tonight's ceremony.

Gemma Chan

Gemma Chan, who plays Astrid Leong, walked the Oscars red carpet in a stunning hot pink smocked Valentino gown that adhered to the night's biggest color trend. She wore her hair in a chic bun and chose a muted pink eyeshadow and lipstick to match her gown.

Awkwafina

Comedian Awkwafina, who played the crowd favorite role of Peik Lin Goh, looked like a boss in a glittering metallic lavender pantsuit by DSquared2. She added to her already glamorous look with a matching box clutch and opted to keep her makeup neutral to let her outfit shine. Awkwafina will also be presenting at the ceremony.

Michelle Yeoh

Michelle Yeoh exuded the same elegance as her Crazy Rich Asians character, Eleanor Young. Yeoh arrived on the red carpet in a silver sequined off-the-shoulder Elie Saab gown and accessorized with delicate silver Chopard and Richard Mille jewelry.

Henry Golding

Henry Golding arrived on the Oscars red carpet looking just as dapper his character, Nick Young, in a Ralph Lauren purple label tuxedo and white waistcoat.
