| On November 12, 2018, The Countess of Wessex opened the restored Royal Victoria Chapel at the Royal Victoria Country Park in Netley, Hampshire. The Chapel at Royal Victoria Country Park is opened to the public following a £3.5m restoration. The Chapel is all that remains of the Royal Victoria Hospital (aka Netley Hospital). The Royal Victoria Hospital was built in 1856 and served the British military for over a century. |
