The Countess of Wessex attended the launch of PSVI Film Festival

On Friday, The Countess of Wessex attended the launch of PSVI Film Festival at the British Film Institute (BFI) on London’s Southbank. The Countess joined Angelina Jolie at the Fighting Stigma through Film Festival at the BFI. The Festival features thirty-five films based on the discrimination and social stigma caused by rape and other sexual assaults in war zones, from fourteen filmmakers from countries including Russia, Burma, Nigeria and Syria. Angelina Jolie, who is the United Nations (UNHCR) Special Envoy of the High Commissioner for Refugees, founded the PSVI alongside former foreign secretary Lord William Hague of Richmond in 2012.
