| Italian President Sergio Mattarella is currently making a State visit to Sweden as the guest of the Swedish King. His daughter, Laura Mattarella accompanies President Mattarella. On November 13, 2018, President Mattarella was welcomed by the King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden with a state ceremony at Stockholm Royal Palace. The State Visit aims to further advance the long-standing, good Swedish-Italian relations. (In the evening, the King and the Queen will hold a gala dinner at Royal Palace in honour of Italian President Sergio Mattarella). |
