(China Plus) The J.K. Rowling-penned fantasy "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" will be released in China on Nov. 16, the same day as in the U.S.
Earlier, Jude Law, who plays Albus Dumbledore, a powerful wizard in the British Wizarding Community, attended the premiere in China. He described the relationship with his costar Eddie Redmayne in the film.
"Really, 90-percent of my work with Eddie. And we had a really lovely scene to play out right at the beginning. And it was a great introduction for me into the world. Also, they have a really lovely relationship, Newt and Albus."
This second installment sees dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald escape, and enact his plan to see witches and wizards dominate the muggle world. Dumbledore aims to stop him.
The first movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, gained approximately 600-million yuan in box office earnings in 2016.
