| On the second day of their visit to Ghana, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall visited Kumasi. Kumasi (Kumase) is a city in Ashanti Region, and is among the largest metropolitan areas in Ghana. Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall visited the Manhyia Palace for a Durbar and Tea with the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II (The Asantehene is the absolute monarch of the Kingdom of Ashanti). The Duchess of Cornwall also visited the National Cultural Centre in Kumasi. |
