| On October 2, 2018, Queen Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and Princess Benedikte of Denmark attended the opening of the year of 2018 of the Danish Parliament (Folketingets) at Christiansborg Palace. The opening of the Danish Parliament is the beginning of the new legislative year and it takes place on the first Tuesday of October every year. |
