| On September 5, 2018, Queen Rania of Jordan attended the XIN Philanthropy Conference hosted by the Alibaba Group in Hangzhou,China. In 2016, Jack Ma, Executive Chairman of Alibaba Group, initiated the Inaugural “Xin” Philanthropy Conference with an aim of molding a culture of proactive public involvement in charity. The one-day, cross-continent conference, held in Hangzhou, is titled “The Power of Small.” It focused on five key areas: education, poverty alleviation, youth in action, conservation and environmental protection and women’s development. |
