| On September 3, 2018, Queen Mathilde took her children, that is, Princess Eleonore and Prince Gabriel to Sint-Jan-Berchmanscollege in Brussels on the first school day. Prince Gabriel is starting on the fourth year of secondary school, while his sister, ten-year-old Princess Eléonore is in the fifth year of primary school. Prince Emmanuel is no longer enrolled at Berchmanscollege with his siblings - instead attending the Eureka school in Kessel-Lo.
