| On August 16, 2018, Japan's Crown Prince family, that is, Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako along with their daughter, Princess Aiko, arrived at the Izuky-Shimoda Station in Shimoda, Shizuoka Prefecture. The family chatted with the local people and then visited Mitsui Beach. The Crown Prince family will stay at Suzaki Imperial Villa on the southern tip of the Izu Peninsula for about a few days.
