| On June 19, Tuesday, Queen Maxima made a working visit to Radiotherapy/Proton Therapy Center of The University Medical Center (UMCG) in Groningen. Proton therapy is an innovative radiotherapy for cancer patients. UMCG is the first hospital to provide that therapy in The Netherlands since 2018 and in addition, it is the one and only hospital in The Netherlands to treat children with proton therapy. |
